Bruce Springsteen at Co-op Live - full list of banned items and rules for Manchester shows
It's official, 'The Boss' is in town and gearing up to play three huge shows at Manchester's Co-op Live arena over the next seven days.
Bruce Springsteen announced last autumn that he would be playing a series of shows across Europe, and he kicks things off with a residency here in Manchester this week. The Born in the U.S.A. singer will play Co-op Live on May 14, 17 and 20.
The American icon will perform alongside The E Street band at the venue before dates in France and then shows at Anfield in Liverpool. He'll also play a series of dates in Germany, Spain and Italy over the coming weeks and months.
Springsteen is one of the world’s best-selling artists and has won 20 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, two Golden Globes and a Special Tony Award.
Long recognised as an incomparable live performer, Springsteen and The E Street Band's 2023 international tour marked their first live shows since the conclusion of The River Tour in 2017. The 2023 tour then continued into Europe over the spring and summer, before returning to North America for a second leg in August.
Ahead of this week's Manchester's dates, this weekend, music lovers descended on Manchester city centre to catch a glimpse of the singer, who is currently staying at Gary Neville's Stock Exchange Hotel.
Lucky fans took pictures with Springsteen as he signed vinyl and memorabilia on Sussex Street. The rock star posed for pictures and spoke with those who had lined up before being escorted away by security.
