Broos names preliminary Bafana squad for Morocco clash

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has called up 32 players for his preliminary squad to face Morocco in an Afcon qualifier next month.

The match is set to take place at FNB on 17 June.

Closer to the encounter, Broos will trim his squad to 23 players.

Both South Africa and Morocco have qualified for the continental tournament, which will  be held in Ivory Coast on 13 January to 11 February 2024.

Broos also announced that a reduced pre-camp will be held from 31 May 2023 to 7 June and it will be made up of local and a few overseas-based players.
