Britain's Got Talent fans feel 'physically' sick as sword swallower picks Amanda Holden up with his eyes

Fans of Britain's Got Talent couldn't believe what they were seeing in episode four of the series as sword swallower Andrew Stanton added a horrifying twist to his act. Walking on to the stage at first. Andrew refused to speak to head judge Simon Cowell when asked his name and what he’d be doing on the ITV talent show on Saturday night (April 29).

He was then joined on stage by an assistant before swallowing a large sword, much to the audience and judging panel's amazement. At the sight of the sword, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly immediately told viewers not to try this at home.

Andrew followed this by swallowing three long knives, and then he summoned judge Amanda Holden to come up on to the stage. She lay down still on a platform attached to a chain, which he suspended onto his eyes.

Afterwards Simon told him: "That was the most digusting thing I've seen in the history of Talent." And viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts. “That was absolutely horrifying” said one fan Erin Zammitt. "It's not suitable for me to watch, never mind a young person,” argued another viewer Nicola Rippon.

Other viewers complained that they felt sick after watching. @DanielHewitt_40 said: "That’s actually made me feel a bit sick." And @geordiegalg gasped: "What the bloody hell!!! I feel physically sick."

@beccahitchins wrote: "This is actually making me feel physically sick." And @CoralMckeown protested: "No no no I do not find that entertaining #bgt I feel
