In a normal season, 20 goals and nine assists would likely have earned the Austrian a place in the XI but it is hard to argue with a front two of Bournemouth’s Dom Solanke (27 goals, six assists) and Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic (41 goals, seven assists) while fellow Cottager Harry Wilson got the nod in the number 10 role after finishing the season with a division-high 16 assists to go with his 10 goals.
