Brighton's Danny Welbeck looks in incredible shape as he shows off muscly physique

Danny Welbeck is looking to make a major impact at Brighton & Hove Albion this season.

Truth be told, the area in which the Seagulls have struggled most in recent years is indeed the centre forward position and Welbeck hasn’t been able to score a sufficient amount of goals to change that.

Don’t get it twisted, Welbeck has been a positive addition at the Amex Stadium who never gives anything less than 110% effort, but 12 goals from 49 Premier League appearances in the blue and white stripes sadly isn’t anything to write home about.

Especially as we know that Welbeck can be a clinical finisher on his day having reached double figures in campaigns with Manchester United and Arsenal at various points in his career.

And lest we forget that Welbeck actually has one of the most underrated England strike rates of the 21st century, arguably performing even better in international football at times with 16 goals from 42 caps.

So, we can all agree that the quality, talent and work ethic is all there, it’s just a case of Welbeck being able to keep a clean bill of health and Lady Luck playing ball along the way to really make Brighton’s number nine position his own.

And there’s good news, Seagull fans, because Welbeck looks as though he’s in the shape of his life ahead of a season that could make or break his stay on the south coast.
