Brennan Johnson finds new nickname for Philip Zinckernagel after Nottm Forest win v Leicester

Nottingham Forest will still be basking in the glow of their FA Cup win over Leicester City this week with their 4-1 victory surely playing over and over again in the minds of their supporters.

It was a fabulous performance from Steve Cooper’s men and one they will want to use as a springboard for a play-off surge in the coming weeks and months, as the Reds seek a return to the Premier League.

The mood in the camp and in the stands certainly appears the best it has been at the club for a while, too, and it is clear that Cooper has done a great job of getting a squad full of talent to finally click and gel.

Indeed, the camaraderie is plain for all to see and it’s been summed up by the comments Philip Zinckernagel has received on Instagram after his post-match post, with his team-mates praising him and Brennan Johnson coming up with a new nickname for him:

The Verdict

Zinckernagel got the scoring underway on Sunday and Reds fans will certainly be pleased with what they saw from him and his fellow Reds players against the Foxes.

It was a really top performance, and now the challenge has to be to try and reach those levels again in the Championship.
