Celtic fans were wowed by the win at Pittodrie – but left scratching their head over Brendan Rodgers’ decision to send on Reo Hatate.
The midfield man was a late sub for the Hoops but is now facing a Scottish Cup Final sweat after limping off following a hefty challenge from Papa Gueye.
Kenny Wilson, Moffat, said: “Another good performance from the champions with all the fringe players taking their chances to show what they can do and great to see young Kenny get his first goal for them. But I’m astounded Rodgers put on Reo Hatate at 4-1 up and now it looks like they will pay the price of it with him being injured.”

But Stevie Jackson emailed: “Do the clubs in Scotland actually want to beat Celtic? They have been unable to beat the poorest Rangers team in decades over 90 minutes this year. We have shown repeatedly what needs to be done to beat them, so surely the likes of Aberdeen should be looking at what we did and replicating it.”
Celtic are out for another striker and Andy Logan, Livingston, said: “Hearing some of the names being bandied about as potential signings, what about Kevin Nesbit? He would guarantee 20 goals plus a season for a realistic fee.”
