Brecel sets up Shanghai showdown with
Reigning world champion Luca Brecel booked his spot in the Shanghai Masters final by beating Neil Robertson 10-7.
A close start to the semi-final saw Brecel take the lead and despite Robertson seemingly closing the gap, the Belgian managed to pull ahead to go 6-3 up in the morning session.
Robertson fought back to reduce Brecel's lead to 7-6, but the world number two made quick work in the evening session to earn his first-ever win against Robertson, having previously lost all three of their matches on the World Snooker Tour.
Brecel will now face seven-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan in Sunday's final.
