Breaking: Tottenham confirm second January transfer as Antonio Conte attacking line takes shape
Tottenham have announced the signing of Dejan Kulusevski, making him the Lilywhites' second incoming of the January window.
The 21-year-old has made 20 Serie A appearances for Juventus so far this season, adding four goal contributions despite not having a regular spot in the starting XI.
The Swedish international already admitted that his favoured position is as a central playmaker behind the strikers, although he said he can "play wherever the coach wants".
Kulusevski's ability could add some much needed creativity on the pitch for Spurs, providing the service needed to the likes of Son Heung-min and Harry Kane.
Tottenham have paid Juventus €10million (£8.3m) in total - €3m (£2.5m) for the remainder of this season and €7m (£5.8m) for the 2022/23 campaign.
The financials and more details of the Kulusevski to Spurs transfer have now been confirmed via the Juventus website.
"€10 million (£8.3m), of which €3 million (£2.5m) for the football season 2021/2022 and €7 million (£5.8m) for the 2022/2023 football season.
"Furthermore, the agreement provides: - the obligation on the part of Tottenham to acquire the sporting performances of the player al achievement of certain sporting goals during the 2022/2023 season; - the right by Tottenham to acquire the player's sports performance on a permanent basis, if these objectives are not achieved. The consideration agreed for the definitive sale, in both cases, is €35 million (£29.2m), payable in five years."
Juventus have also confirmed the departure of Rodrigo Bentancur to Spurs, just minutes before the Kulusevski announcement.
