A man has been charged with fraud in connection with alleged offences committed at Bolton council.
Greater Manchester Police says Richard Shaw, of Harrier Close, Bolton, has been charged with fraud by abuse of position.
The 45-year-old has been charged in connection with offences that are alleged to have been committed between February 2015 and April 2023.
GMP says the charge follows a 'comprehensive investigation' by the Economic Crime Unit into fraud offences and malpractice at the local authority.
