BREAKING: Man charged after death of mum-of-three, 36, and two suspects released

A man is to appear in court today following the death of a woman in Bury.

Bobby Hardman, 33, of Rutland Drive, Bury, has been charged with assault in connection with the death of 36-year-old Charissa Brown.

The mum-of-three died after being taken to hospital from a flat on Gorse Bank, Bury on Wednesday night.

Police launched an investigation and arrested three men - aged 32, 52, and 61 - on suspicion of murder and rape.

Two have since been released without charge.

Mr Hardman will appear at Manchester magistrates' court on Saturday morning.

On Friday night Ms Brown's parents, daughters and friends attended an emotional vigil for her at Gorse Bank.

They laid flowers and balloons outside the property on Gorse Bank, shared stories and sobbed as they hugged each other before launching three rockets in her memory.

One of her daughters, Tanay, told the M.E.N. she wanted to say four words in her mother's memory: "Will love you forever."

In an earlier tribute Charrissa's mum Sue Brown said: 'RIP my beautiful daughter'.

She said that the tributes flooding in for her on social media show how 'special and loved she is'.
