Bray Wyatt’s WWE return met with humungous pop at Extreme Rules

WWE saw Bray Wyatt return last night, with the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event culminating with him finally returning to the show.

The main event match was Matt Riddle vs Seth Rollins, with the latter taking the victory in the Fight Pit match which debuted on the main roster, with Triple H certainly making his mark.

After that match, the lights went black, with Bray Wyatt revealed to the crowd, using a lantern to make himself visible whilst wearing a mask.

He hadn’t featured for the organisation since April 2021, with the Superstar being cut from the roster by Vince McMhaon, much to the shock of many in the industry.

It struck fear into the rest of the roster, who feared many more could be cut given the stature of Wyatt who most feel shouldn’t have been cut.

His return saw him become the ‘White Rabbit’ with fans incredibly excited to see what will be done with him as Triple H clearly has a big plan given how long the return has been teased for.

When the lights came back up and Bray Wyatt was at the top of the ramp with the bright lantern to reveal himself, the fans could be heard clear as day.

They were all chanting ‘take it off’ in reference to his mask, which Bray Wyatt duly obliged, revealing himself to the fans who were delighted to see him back after his shock cutting from the roster last year.

It was incredibly loud the reaction from the fans, who made their feelings known about finally seeing the Superstar back on the main stage once again.
