Brands BSB Final: Perie does the Supersport double

Bradley Perie won the feature Quattro British Supersport Championship race at Brands Hatch on Sunday afternoon which also gave the Appleyard Macadam Yamaha team victory in their final outing.

Perie took his seventh win of the season ahead of Lee Johnston (Ashcourt Racing Yamaha) and Richard Cooper (BPE by Russell Racing Yamaha). Johnston took the lead for the first time going into Hawthorn half way round lap eight and it was now most definitely a three-way battle for the race win, Cooper having firmly latched onto Perie’s back wheel. Further back van Sikkelerus was up into fourth ahead of the impressive Cook with Truelove dropping back to sixth ahead of Booth-Amos, Irwin, Luke Jones (Highsparks Motorsport Ducati), Rees and Luke Stapleford (Gearlink Kawasaki) as eight riders now disputed fourth. Scott Swann was out though having crashed
