Brandon Barker seals post Rangers transfer as new Reading winger claims Ibrox experience made him 'grow up'
Former Rangers winger Brandon Barker has penned a short-term deal with Reading.
And he's vowed to use his formative Ibrox experiences to his advantage to make a mark with the Championship strugglers.
Barker left Rangers by mutual consent at the end of the January window having made just one appearance this season - in the Scottish Cup against Stirling Albion.
He failed to impress Gio van Bronckhorst and agreed to terminate his deal in order to play first-team football in the second half of the season.
Barker joined the Ibrox side from Manchester City in 2019 having previously impressed at Hibs but managed just 27 appearances in total before his release.

And now he rolls up his sleeves to join a Reading side who have lost seven Championship games on the spin and are staring down the barrel of a relegation dogfight.
He told Reading TV: "I'm definitely grateful for the chance. I haven't played a lot of football recently.
"This is a chance to show everyone what I can do and impress people and get my name back out there.
"I played in the Championship a few years back but life in the SPFL made me grow up as a man.
"It's difficult playing for such a big club, the pressure's always on so hopefully
