Bradley Dack eyeing magic moment as he awaits Blackburn Rovers return

Dack has missed the last 12 months of action after being taken off on a stretcher on March 12 2021 against Brentford. 

Dack suffered devastating damage to his anterior cruciate ligament, which cost him a whole year in his playing career. 

But Dack is set to return to the Blackburn Rovers squad this weekend as the side prepares to face Bristol City in Ewood Park on Saturday.

Dack has mixed emotions upon his return, as he feels both nervous and excited to make his long awaited comeback. 

The playmaker revealed that he is looking forward to that scoring feeling most of all. 

“It will be an unbelievable feeling to be back in the squad, if that is the case,” Dack told the official Blackburn Rovers website. 

“There’s been a lot of hard work over the last year, a lot of ups and downs, but to be involved in a matchday squad will be a special feeling.

“I feel I’ve done enough over the last few weeks in training and in the Under-23s games to get a place in the squad.

“Coming back the first time was a special time, but there was always something missing without the fans there with me.

“The feeling I miss the most is scoring goals in front of the fans.

“It’ll make me more emotionally involved in the game. I miss playing, of course I do, but there’s no feeling like scoring a goal, especially in front of supporters.”

Dack will be returning to the side fourth in the Championship.

But Blackburn have only won one of their last seven league games and will be missing talisman Ben Brereton Diaz this weekend as he remains absent through injury.
