Brad Pitt and George Clooney's new movie gets streaming shake-up as sequel confirmed before release

Brad Pitt and George Clooney's latest film, Wolfs, will be hitting the streaming world just one week after its cinema debut.

The crime-comedy, produced by Apple Studios and directed by Jon Watts of Spider-Man fame, was initially set for an exclusive theatrical run before its digital release.

But in a swift change of plans reported by Deadline, Apple TV+ will now premiere the movie on September 27, closely following its September 20 cinema release.

Wolfs reunites the Ocean's 11 duo in a new heist adventure, with Brad and George playing professional fixers tasked with concealing the same murder.

The official synopsis reveals: "When the two 'lone wolves' are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected", reports the Express.

The cast also includes Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, Poorna Jagannathan, Richard Kind, and Zlatko Buric.

Despite the quick transition to streaming, Apple is showing its belief in the film's potential by confirming a sequel well ahead of the original's release.

Jon is set to direct the sequel, though it remains to be seen if Brad and George will return or if the story will focus on different characters.
