Bournemouth fooled Forest with clever free-kick routine to win Premier League return

Bournemouth have been promoted to the Premier League after beating Nottingham Forest in their crunch Championship clash on Tuesday evening.

The Cherries looked like they would easily secure promotion earlier in the season, but a downturn in fortunes had seen Forest close the gap.

Going into the match at the Vitality Stadium, the two sides were separated by just three points in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

It was Bournemouth who held their nerve to get over the line.

Bournemouth won the game 1-0. It took them 83 minutes to score the all-important goal.

And it came after a clever set-piece routine.

Bournemouth were given a free-kick on the edge of the box. It looked all for the world that Philip Billing would have a go at goal.

However, he had other ideas.

Forest put so many men in the wall that they forgot to mark Bournemouth striker, Kieffer Moore.

Moore found space on the left-hand side of the box and he was picked out by the Dane.

The Bournemouth made no mistake as he swept his effort past Brice Samba. Watch the moment below…

A HUGE ROAR
