Bosch ruled out of SA A tour to Sri Lanka
Titans bowling all-rounder Corbin Bosch has been withdrawn from the South Africa A squad's upcoming tour to Sri Lanka due to a back injury.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Cricket SA said the 28-year-old experienced progressive back discomfort and underwent scans "which revealed stress reaction".
While further scans showed healing, the scans also indicated that Bosch would not recover completely in time for the squad's departure to the subcontinent on 31 May.
Warriors bowling all-rounder Beyers Swanepoel has been named as Bosch's replacement.
The SA A side will face Sri Lanka A in three one-day and two four-day matches in June.
Proteas head coach Shukri Conrad will mentor the team on the tour, with Western Province batsman Tony de Zorzi the captain.
