Borussia Dortmund star delivers two-word message to Wolves midfielder after contract update

Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham sent Luke Cundle a two-word message on social media after he penned a new four-year contract extension at Wolves.

The academy product had been integrated in Bruno Lage's squad earlier this season and has impressed since his senior debut in the Carabao Cup in September 2019.

He stood out in one of his most recent cameo against Tottenham Hotspur, enjoying a 96 per cent pass success rate.

"I’m delighted to get it signed," Cundle said. "I’ve been at Wolves a long time now and I’ve got nothing but good things to say about the club. I’ve enjoyed myself throughout all the age groups. Now, I’ve got to keep working hard and hopefully it’ll continue.

"You don’t think too far ahead when you’re coming through, when you’re younger, you take it year by year, but the first-team has always been my dream and to be in the Premier League. Hopefully now I can kick on and get better."

The youngster earned plenty of praise after announcing the news on social media, including Wolves team mates Chem Campbell, Theo Corbeanu, Dion Sanderson and Conor Carty.

But the one that stood out was of Dortmund's Bellingham.

The message read: "Congrats mate!," followed by a first pump emoji.
