Bonnyrigg Rose 1-1 Dumbarton - Farrell frustrated as Rose hold Sons

Stevie Farrell felt his Sons deserved more, as they left Bonnyrigg with just a point - despite a dominant second-half showing.

Carlo Pignatiello cancelled out Neil Martyniuk’s early opener, with the Sons left frustrated as a mixture of inspired goalkeeper and controversial calls saw the Rosey Posey cling on to earn a draw.

The boss said: “I thought we played the conditions very well. I said at half-time that I wasn’t too disappointed with them,

Sons hit back, an excellent advantage from referee Lloyd Wilson saw Jinky Hilton burst clear - with his low effort gathered by Paddy Martin at the second attempt.

With New Dundas Park a notoriously tricky place to get a result, Sons found their task getting harder - as they fell behind after just 10 minutes.
