Bombers sign DB Alexander to two-year extension
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed American safety Brandon Alexander to a two-year contract extension, it was announced Friday.
The 28-year-old has played four seasons with the Bombers and recorded 36 tackles with two interceptions in 13 regular season games last year.
He was named to both the CFL All-Star Team and the Canadian Football League Players’ Association All-Star Team in 2021.
The two-time Grey Cup champion was named Bombers' Most Outstanding Rookie in 2017 and has 162 tackles in 52 games. The Orlando native played collegiately at the University of Central Florida.
