Bolts to place Bosa (groin) on IR

Staley noted that the 27-year-old Bosa is expected to return later in the season.
#Chargers coach Brandon Staley announces that Pro Bowl pass-rusher Joey Bosa (groin) will have surgery and be placed on Injured Reserve. He should be back later in the season.
In his seventh pro season out of Ohio State, Bosa was injured during Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. In placing Bosa on IR, the four-time Pro Bowler will be unavailable for a minimum of four games.
Bosa was one of a number of Chargers to pick up injuries in the loss. Left tackle Rashawn Slater was lost for the season with a ruptured biceps, while wide receiver Jalen Guyton will also miss the remainder of the season after tearing his ACL.
The Chargers (1-2) are next in action on Sunday when they visit the Houston Texans (1-2).
