Arsenal could now be enticing proposition for £67m star at the Emirates

Arsenal must no longer sound like a bad proposition to Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, says journalist Dean Jones.

The 22-year-old was heavily linked to the Gunners before his move to the Old Lady, who are having a bit of a torrid time right now.

While things are not going well for eighth-placed Juventus as a whole, Vlahovic will be happy with his individual performances so far this term. In six Serie A outings, he has scored four goals.

It follows an impressive 2021/22 campaign, where he registered 17 times in 21 league games at Fiorentina before earning that move to Juventus.

At Juventus, he then went on to net another seven league goals, taking his total tally to 24.

In January, Sky Sports reported that Arsenal had a strong interest in Vlahovic, but nothing came from that in the end and the Serbian eventually joined his current employers in a €75m (around £67m) deal.

Amid Juventus’ struggles this season, Arsenal have once again been linked with Vlahovic, and Jones thinks the north London club are a much more attractive proposition this time around.

Speaking about the former Fiorentina forward and Mikel Arteta’s side, who currently sit first in the Premier League table, the transfer insider told GIVEMESPORT: “They [Juventus] find themselves in a mess, really.

“I mean, they’re eighth in Serie A, two defeats out of two in the Champions League. That’s not where he thought the club were heading when he signed for them and, suddenly, Arsenal don’t seem such a bad proposition.”

Despite Calciomercatoweb claiming that Arteta still wants him, it seems unlikely. The Gunners, of course, brought Gabriel Jesus
