Bolton Wanderers player ratings vs Morecambe - James Trafford, Declan John and Amadou Bakayoko good

Did what he had to do in opening 45 minutes but not called into serious action until after break with several saves including penalty stop from Cole Stockton.

Came into the back for Gethin Jones. Distribution with the ball got better as game wore on in solid showing at the back.

Captain martialled Stockton well in the first half, giving Morecambe talisman little to feed on in first half. Had been doing well until straight red card for deliberate handball, which appeared a contentious decision.
