Boks pick Libbok at No 10 for France quarter-final, surprise with Reinach selection at No 9
Springbok coach Jacques Nienaber on Friday confirmed his team for Sunday's blockbuster Rugby World Cup quarter-final against France at the Stade de France in Paris.
Nienaber has opted for Manie Libbok as his starting flyhalf, with 2019 World Cup winner Handre Pollard named on the bench.
In a surprising move, Cobus Reinach will start at scrumhalf ahead of Faf de Klerk.
The experienced Duane Vermeulen also starts at No 8 ahead of Jasper Wiese, who isn't part of the match-day squad.
Nienaber also went for a more conventional five-three forwards-backs split on the bench.
Sunday's game kicks off at 21:00.
