Bok winger Nkosi to start for Bulls against Stormers, Steyn set for 150-game milestone

Springbok winger Sbu Nkosi is back in the Bulls starting line-up for Saturday's URC derby against the Stormers in Pretoria.

Nkosi, 27, has been out of action for a while after being reported as missing by the Bulls in December.

Nkosi disappeared from the radar for three weeks before being found at his father's house in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga. He admitted he was battling with his mental health.

The speedster returned to training with the Bulls earlier this month and has been picked to start at left wing against the Stormers.

The Bulls are still without the services of Springbok duo, Canan Moodie and Kurt-Lee Arendse, who are rested in line with national team protocol. Utility back Johan Goosen is also recovering from successful shoulder surgery that will see him sidelined for up to six weeks.

Elsewhere in the backline, Cornal Hendricks gets a run at right wing as David Kriel shifts to fullback. Zak Burger and Chris Smith combine as starting halfbacks, while Harold Vorster and Wandisile Simelane pair up in midfield.

Veteran Morne Steyn will provide flyhalf cover on the bench. If he gets game time, Steyn will play his 150th franchise game in the Super Rugby and URC era - a feat only achieved by a select few players. The Springbok has played 129 Super Rugby and 20 URC games.
