"Operation went well! Will be back soon!" Kolisi posted on Instagram on Tuesday night.

Kolisi joined the Parisian outfit after last year's World Cup in France where he captained the Boks to glory.

Springbok management will keep a close eye on Kolili's fitness but he is expected to recover in time for the home series against Ireland in July.

The Boks will hold an alignment camp between 5-6 March. Kolisi's name was not listed in the 43-player group named to assemble in Cape Town.
