Bohemians v Shamrock Rovers post mid-season break derby live on RTÉ television

Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers' third derby meeting of the season will be televised live on RTÉ on Friday, 23 June.

It will be the first round of action after the end of the mid-season break, with the Hoops currently six points clear at the top of the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division and Bohs eight points behind in fourth place.

Stephen Bradley's Rovers side have won the two previous meetings between the teams this season by 2-0 scorelines on both occasions.

Kick-off at Dalymount Park is scheduled for 7.45pm, with TV and streaming coverage on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player from 7.35pm.

Meanwhile, attendances in the men's top flight have seen a 23.2% increase compared to the same point last year.

A total of 349,867 have attended men's Premier Division matches up to the mid-season break compared to last year's figure of 283,941 after the same number of games.

Drogheda United have experienced the biggest rise in crowds with a 39% increase from 1,364 to 1,896, while Shamrock Rovers have the highest average attendance of 6,028.

Attendances are also on the rise in the Men's First Division, up 8%, with Waterford (42%), Athlone Town (135%) and Wexford (77%) experiencing the biggest overall increases.

Women's Premier Division crowds are also up 80% on average, with attendance records broken three times across 2023.
