Body of man found in woods with police cordon in place
The body of a man was found in woods in Salford this morning, the Manchester Evening News understands.
The tragic discovery was made in Worsley Woods earlier today (Friday). The M.E.N understands there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Officers cordoned off an area in the woods after the body was found. Tape remains in place near a stretch of water through the woods.

It is also near an underpass which runs under the M60 motorway. Pictures show several officers on the scene.
