Bobby Lashley takes nasty fall at Live Event after rope break

If you wanted proof that anything can happen at a WWE Live Event, then look at what happened to Bobby Lashley at last night’s show in Newcastle.

WWE are currently on a mini tour of Europe, and at last night’s event in Newcastle, Bobby Lashley took on Drew McIntyre in one of the evening’s premiere matches. During the match, however, Lashley took an unexpected bump after an accidental rope break.

As the former WWE Champion was whipped into the ropes by McIntyre they unexpectedly snapped and it saw Lashley fall backwards onto the floor outside of the ring.

Officials rushed to the aid of The Almighty but thankfully he appeared to be fine, despite the frightening accident, and was able to complete the match.

One WWE fan was able to film the footage and you can see the scary moment below. Posting on Twitter the fan added that Bobby seemed ok and continued with no sign of injury.

okay to answer a few questions! Yes this was tonight at the newcastle show. Bobby seems to be fine and un injured- he continued the match.

After Newcastle, WWE head to London’s O2 Arena tonight for a card that sees Lashley in action once again, as he takes on Sheamus. While Drew is headlining the Live Event as he takes on Roman Reigns. There is also Ronda Rousey’s first-ever UK tour appearances as she battles Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

GiveMeSport will be live at the London show tonight so stay tuned for all the latest news and results coming out of the event.
