Kapp has returned home for family reasons, while Sekhukhune sustained a groin injury before the series that starts today in Chelmsford.
Sekhukhune experienced discomfort during the warm-ups ahead of the third and final One-Day International (ODI) against England on Monday.
After being assessed by the team’s medical staff, it was agreed she would be sent home to begin her rehabilitation.
Batter Tazmin Brits, who was part of the ODI squad, will remain with the team that takes on the hosts between 21 – 25 July.
There is no indication if Kapp or Sekhukhune will drop out of the team for the Commonwealth Games starting on 28 July.
