Blackpool Airshow 2024: What time are the Red Arrows on Sunday?

This weekend, the skies above Blackpool will take centre stage as some of the country's finest aircraft take centre stage. On Saturday and Sunday, Blackpool Airshow returns with tens of thousands expected to flock to the Lancashire seaside town to watch a series of spectacular aerial displays.

Across the weekend, dozens of civilian and military aircraft will take to the skies above Blackpool. On Saturday, highlights will include the RAF Typhoon, Spitfire XIX & Mustang P51D, and of course, the famous Red Arrows. There will also be performances from Swordfish, Wingwalkers, The Ravens, Muscle Pits and Calidus Autogyro.

Dating back to the 1909, the Airshow showcases some of the most-impressive flying machinery ever built. First held at Blackpool Airport, the event now takes over all of Blackpool with festivities, demonstrations and family-friendly activities.

As well as the aerial displays there will be activities on the ground in the Airshow Village which will be open from 10am to 6pm. With the airshow taking place between 2pm to 5:30pm, the village will also host a wide range of stalls and attractions right on the Tower Festival Headland.

The show will see premier aerobatic display team the Red Arrows performing over both days. And visitors will also get the unique opportunity to climb into the cockpit and get to feel what is like to be a Red Arrows Pilot.

The Red Arrows display is due at 5pm on Sunday.
