BKT United Rugby Championship: Round 3: All you need to know

Having shared the stage with the World Cup for its opening two rounds, the focus fully turns to the BKT United Rugby Championship this week, as we reach Round 3.

Appropriately, we have our first Irish Interpro to look forward to, with Connacht hosting Ulster at the Sportsground on Saturday evening, and both sides looking to maintain their perfect starts to the season.

Leinster and Munster are also in action on Saturday. Leinster will look to build on last week's first win of the season when they host Edinburgh at the RDS, while Munster will hope for an improved performance this week, with the defending champions welcoming Dragons to Cork.

ONLINE

We'll have live scoring, blogs, reports and reaction across the weekend.

TV

RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player will be showing a live double-header from 2.30pm on Saturday, with Leinster taking on Edinburgh and Munster hosting the Dragons.

Connacht v Ulster (Saturday 7.35pm) will be live on TG4.

All games are shown live on urc.tv

RADIO

Listen to live updates of Leinster v Edinburgh on RTÉ Radio 1's Saturday Sport, while there will be full live commentary of Connacht v Ulster on RTÉ Radio 1 Extra.

WEATHER

It looks like there will be tricky conditions at the RDS for Leinster v Edinburgh, with showers likely and winds of around 15km/hr. Temperatures will hit a maximum of 10C.

There's a slightly better outlook in Cork for Munster v Dragons. Temperatures will be around 8C, and while it will be a windy evening in Cork, the early showers that morning are expected to make way for a clear evening.

The weather conditions also look favourable in Galway for Connacht v Ulster on Saturday night. It'll be a cold evening, with temperatures of 7C expected, but it will be a dry evening with winds of around 12 km/hr.
