Billy Dodds: Inverness are 'more than capable' of beating Accies, says under-pressure boss

Inverness boss Billy Dodds says his side are more than capable of beating Hamilton tonight, and arresting a run of nine games without a win.

Dodds says a victory at New Douglas Park this evening can give the Highlanders a platform to revive their Championship title bid and prove to Kilmarnock and Arbroath that they're still capable of challenging.

Thistle are seven points behind second-placed Killie and leaders Arbroath, and have crashed to two 2-1 defeats against Accies already this season.

"You can play poorly and win - and I'd take that right now. I'd love to play well, and I know if we do we're more than capable of winning the game.

"But we need to do it now to give ourselves that edge back, and give ourselves that platform back."

Dodds added: "It's getting to times when we have to
