Billy Burns a doubt for Ulster's crucial meeting with Racing

Ulster could be without Billy Burns for Saturday's Investec Champions Cup Pool 2 meeting with Racing 92.

The out-half appears to be a major doubt for the visit of the French side to Belfast after picking up an elbow injury in Saturday's 37-14 defeat to Bath at The Rec.

Burns has featured in every game so far this season for Dan McFarland's side, starting five and coming off the bench on three occasions in what's been a time-share at the position alongside Jake Flannery, who now looks set to start against Racing.

The 29-year-old is the only fresh injury from Saturday's disappointing defeat, but the province have been dealt a blow elsewhere with conformation that wing Ben Moxham is set to miss the rest of the season.

The 22-year-old picked up a knee injury in the previous week's defeat to Edinburgh, and is likely to be out for nine months after it was confirmed he had torn his anterior cruciate ligament.

In better news, Ulster look set to welcome back Luke Marshall, Will Addison and Marcus Rea into contention for this week after the trio resumed full-training following injury.

David McCann and Ethan McIlroy are among those who remain sidelined this week ahead of the visit of Racing 92 to Kingspan Stadium on Saturday.

Like Ulster, Stuart Lancaster's side were beaten in Round 1, going down 31-28 in a thriller against Harlequins in Paris on Sunday evening.
