Big Newcastle United survey after season like no-other with potential for even more excitement
Not to go all Martin Tyler on you, but I swear we'll never see anything like this again at Newcastle United. A whirlwind takeover, a drawn out manager upgrade, a bruising first half of the season followed by a scintillating January transfer window and a remarkable recovery.
Newcastle finished the season in 11th, on 49 points. They were rock bottom of the league in January and cut adrift.
They lost to Cambridge United at home in the FA Cup. Yet the recovery from that low will be remembered for a long-time on Tyneside.
Past editions of Newcastle 'Big post season surveys' have been platforms for fans to voice justified displeasure at Ashley, Charnley et al for the lack of care, ambition and respect shown towards the football club. Those bitter memories make this years edition of the post season survey even more sweeter.
Attention has switched towards improvement and investment from the pitch to the stadium concourses. How much should be spent (featuring PROPER Premier League figures) and where can Newcastle climb to next season, what was your favourite Wor Flags display and do you have a suggestion for a topic, moment, or player they can champion next season?
Big issues are there to be addressed too: from season ticket distribution to the much talked about Saudi-style away kit. It's all important as we look forward as much as we look back.
So get stuck in, get excited and have your say. Newcastle is United again and it feels great:
