Big E: Former WWE Champion makes first public appearance since horrifying neck injury
The New Day star and former WWE Champion Big E has made his first public appearance since his terrifying neck break earlier this year.
During the March 11th edition of SmackDown, Big E suffered a serious neck injury after a tussle with Ridge Holland. After E fell to the outside, he was given a Belly-to-Belly suplex by the Yorkshireman. However, instead of flipping all the way over and landing on his back, Big E landed on his head and neck.
The horrifying incident saw the 36-year-old suffer a C1 and fracture, and although no damage was done to his spinal cord E revealed last month that the recovery was taking longer than he planned.
In better news, however, fellow WWE star Titus O’Neil has taken to social media to post a picture of himself and reveal Big E’s first public appearance since the career-threatening injury. The two were pictured together at a recent Tampa Bay Lightning game from the NHL, with O’Neil celebrating the side’s win and being able to share it with the former WWE Champion.
