Big Brother star Yinrun Huang announces engagement with emotional proposal video

Yinrun Huang announced she was engaged in an emotional video, sharing the moment her boyfriend Luke bent down on one knee.

The former Big Brother contestant broke the news on Instagram to her followers this Tuesday (6th August), as she revealed in the caption that her partner had 'secretly learnt Chinese to propose'.

Yinrun's proposal video kicks off as the couple dance for a TikTok video, before Luke interrupts their routine to propose in Chine, with his other half translating his words with captions on the video.

He said: "I wanted to give you a special message and I wanted to do so in your native language. Sorry in advance if my pronunciation is bad."

"Because of you everything is the best, I am so so so grateful to have you in my life. Every moment we spend together is filled with happiness," he added.

"And your laughter fills me with warmth. Your love has brought me peace and contentment. I am so lucky to have you in my life and I promise to always adore you and I hope to build a lifetime of memories together. Will you marry me?"

Yinrun can be seen holding back tears as her boyfriend shakes with nerves, slipping a hand into his pocket to reveal the engagement ring. Yinrun's followers reacted happily to the news.

"I am sobbing in the middle of M&S CONGRATULATIONS", one of them notably penned. Another added: "Congratulations!! Luke is so sweet learning to say all that."

A third chimed in: "This is so beautiful I’m crying! Congratulations to you both."

Another echoed: "Crying on the bus home from work. Congratulations."

Yinrun finished as a finalist in her Big Brother series.
