Bianca Andreescu wins Libema Open semifinal in straight sets

Canada's Bianca Andreescu has advanced to the final of the Libema Open in the Netherlands, winning her semifinal match against Hungary's Dalma Galfi in straight-sets by a score of 6-4, 6-2.

Andreescu, of Mississauga, Ont., will face either Ekaterina Alexandrova or Liudmila Samsonova, both of Russia, in the final on Sunday at the Wimbledon tune-up tourney.

This is just the second tournament Andreescu has played in since missing nearly 10 months with a back injury.

The 23-year-old Canadian defeated Japan's Naomi Osaka in a quarterfinal matchup on Friday.
