'Best feeling' - Josh Sheehan opens up on Bolton Wanderers return after long injury spell
Josh Sheehan admits it is the 'best feeling' to be back playing football once again after a lengthy spell out injured for Bolton Wanderers.
The midfielder had been on the sidelines since last November. His first campaign at Wanderers was ended early due to a ruptured ACL and a long period of recovery and rehabilitation followed.
He returned to running on grass towards the end of last season and travelled with the squad to their pre-season training camp in Portugal. He did not feature in pre-season fixtures though.

Sheehan returned to action last month in the Papa Johns Trophy clash against Crewe Alex. He followed this up with another appearance in the same competition, this time versus Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday.
His time out coincided with Lloyd Isgrove also being on the sidelines injured. The winger made his long-awaited return off the bench at Prenton Park.
Sheehan says it is the 'best feeling' to be back in action once again and admits he had to be patient to wait for his chance and not rush things. He feels he and Isgrove were able to keep their spirits as high as possible during their spells out and, though it was difficult, the midfielder is hoping to kick on for his club and, in time, his country too.
He said: “It is just the best feeling being back out there. For nine months me and Izzy were there, lonely days in the gym, when the boys are out there and training it is hard but you know it leads to games playing in front of those fans again, so it is amazing to be back.
“I know the gaffer said in his interviews that I was in a hurry, and that was it, I felt right away I was ready but that isn’t the reality
