Here is your Arsenal morning digest Monday, February 7.

As reported by Turkish outlet Fanatik, via Insidefutbol, Besiktas have been put off by Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette’s wage demands and will not be pursuing him any further, it has been claimed in Turkey.

The Frenchman has less than six months remaining on his current deal and it is expected that he may leave the club in the summer.

It remains to be seen whether Manchester City or Liverpool make a play for Saka’s services in the summer but if the Englishman's previous words are anything to go by, Gunners fans have nothing to worry about.

Speaking in June of last year, Saka told Arsenal.com: "For me to get here I would say I just worked hard and it's always been my dream to be one of the main players in Arsenal Football Club and to try and help this club be back where it belongs which is at the top.

"The opportunity to play the game, to play the thing that you love and play in a stadium where you're supported by sometimes there's 80,000 fans in the stadium cheering you on and celebrating with you.

"We just love Arsenal. We love to play. You can see the passion and the happiness that we play with."
