Benn vs Van Heerden live stream: Where to watch fight online and on TV tonight

Conor Benn faces Chris van Heerden in Manchester tonight as he continues his climb up the welterweight ladder.

‘The Destroyer’ last fought in Liverpool in December, when he once again showcased his formidable power with a brilliant stoppage of veteran American Chris Algieri.

The next step on what Benn hopes is a journey to global superstardom and world title challenges is a clash with former IBO champion Van Heerden.

The experienced South African - the first southpaw Benn has faced at the pro level - has not stepped into the ring since December 2020, when a nasty cut forced a very premature end to his bout against another superstar-in-waiting in Jaron Ennis.

Also on Saturday’s bill is the European cruiserweight title rematch between Chris Billam-Smith and Tommy McCarthy, while Alycia Baumgardner defends her WBC and IBO super-featherweight titles for the first time against Edith Soledad Matthysse.

There’s also the latest instalment of Campbell Hatton’s budding professional career as he battles Argentine replacement opponent Ezequiel Gregores.

TV channel: Benn vs Van Heerden is being broadcast live tonight on sports video streaming service DAZN. A subscription to DAZN currently costs £7.99 a month in the UK.

The service can be viewed on smart TVs in addition to other devices such as computers, mobiles, gaming consoles and tablets.
