Ben Whittaker opponent hits out in scathing rant after fight ends in controversial draw

Liam Cameron is convinced that Ben Whittaker sought an escape from their fight after an injury led to an early conclusion of the bout. The pair witnessed the match go to the judges' scorecards following a tumble over the ropes at the end of the fifth round, which saw Whittaker on the ground and Cameron returning to his corner for the interval.

As the sixth round was about to commence, the one-time Olympic silver medallist couldn't get up and received attention from his team and medical staff. Cameron was under the impression he had secured victory but, due to an accidental injury ruling, the judges were called to make a decision.
