Ben Healy caught late on in Tour de France stage 14
Irish cyclist Ben Healy was caught with less than five kilometres left of stage 14 of the Tour de France as yellow jersey holder Tadej Pogacar flew through to claim victory.
Healy, the 23-year-old EF Education-Easypost rider, was part of an 11-person breakaway 60kms out that was whittled down to five at half that distance.
He broke clear on his own heading into the final stages of the 151.9km mountain stage from Pau to Saint-Lary-Soulan/Pla d'Adet.
Britain's Adam Yates whittled down Healy's lead as they went into the final five kilometres - four seconds with 4.6km left - but it was Pogacar of UAE Team Emirates who powered through, opening up a comfortable gap over Jonas Vingegaard who finished second.
