Beat the Pundit F-bomb has Superscoreboard pundits in fits of laughter as Benidorm caller causes on air hysterics

The Clyde 1 Superscoreboard panel were left in fits of laughter by a "Beat the Pundit" contestant after his X-rated gaffe live on air.

During Thursday night's show with presenter Andrew MacLean, former Celtic and Dundee United defender Mark Wilson and ex-Rangers forward Gordon Dalziel, listener Ryan called in to take part in the game, in which a punter and a pundit each answer the same set of questions within 30 seconds.

But before the game had even begun, punter Ryan, who was phoning in from his holiday in Benidorm, had the panel in hysterics after dropping an F bomb in a response to a question from Dalziel. The former Ibrox and Raith Rovers striker had initially teased the caller for deciding to call into the show while he was living it up in the sunshine. Dalziel then asked the punter if he would be taking part in the game by himself before Ryan replied : "The wife is here but she's nae f****** use!"

Dalziel and Wilson immediately burst out laughing, while stand-in anchor MacLean quickly offered up an apology to anyone who heard the explicit word on the channel's Youtube live stream. Still seeing the funny side, one-time Scotland cap Wilson, who had just came back from a holiday in Spain himself quipped: "I am glad I came back from my holiday just for that."

After giving themselves a few minutes to compose themselves, the Beat the Pundit game finally took place, with punter Ryan edging out Dalziel by giving two correct answers to his one after correctly stating that Hearts midfielder Calem Nieuwenhof is from Australia.

Dalziel once again roared with laughter after learning off his defeat, saying: "I told you he deserved a bollocking!" Remarkably, punter Ryan then almost repeated the swear word when asked how he was
