Beach Soccer president seeks donors’ support

President of African Beach Soccer Union, who is also chairman, Kebbi State Beach Soccer Association, Alhaji Mahmoud Hadejia, has called on philanthropists and donor agencies to complement government’s efforts in promoting the sport in the state.

Speaking shortly after the closing ceremony of the 2021/2022 Beach Soccer league season, tagged Super Four, Hadejia said support from individuals will improve any league in the state.

He commended Kebbi State government and WACOT Rice Mill for their support towards the development of beach soccer.

Also speaking at the event, chairman, Kebbi State Football Association, who is also the state’s Commissioner for Works, Alhaji Chika Ladan, commended the local organising committee for promoting beach soccer league in the state.

He urged players to be committed and strive to lead the country to international league championships, while assuring them of government’s commitment to sports in the state.
