BBC6 Music Fesival line up updates as Little Simz, Pixies and Idles announced for Cardiff event
BBC Radio 6 Music is bringing its 6 Music Festival to Cardiff this spring.
On the first weekend in April acts like Brit Award Best Newcomer winner Little Simz, Porridge, Pixies, Idles and loads more will take over venues in Cardiff.
The festival will start on Friday, April 1 and tickets will go on sale on Thursday, February 17.
Joining Little Simz on the opening day at St David's Hall will be Mykki Blanco, Curtis Harding and Deyah. Pixies, Lucy Dacus, while Idles will be at The Great Hall.
It will continue on Saturday, April 2 when Bloc Party will headline The Great Hall.
Gigs will also take place at Y Plas at Cardiff University.
Huw Stephens, who is covering for Lauren Laverne, announced that the weekender was coming to Wales and he, with fellow DJ Mary Anne Hobbs, are drip-feeding the line-up live on air this morning.
