BBC Strictly fans gush over 'perfect' Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola reunion on 'special day'

Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and her Strictly Come Dancing partner Vito Coppola left fans emotional as they shared a look at their 'perfect' reunion last week.

The pair, who met on the latest series of the BBC competition, stole the nation's hearts with their blossoming friendship and went on to win the coveted glitterball trophy back in December.

Since their victory, the couple, who were rumoured to be dating during the show but went on to dismiss the rumours, have parted ways to pursue their own projects. However, they remain close friends and have spoken on numerous occasions about the 'love' they have for each other.

Last week, the stars aligned when the pair found themselves performing in separate projects, but in the same city and the same building. Ellie is currently performing across the UK in Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter playing Miss Scarlett, while Vito is currently starring in the Strictly Come Dancing The Professionals tour.

On Thursday, May 23, the pair were both performing in Nottingham and enjoyed a reunion, with Ellie getting to watch Vito's matinee performance before her own show, and Vito getting to visit Ellie on set.

Now, Ellie and Vito have both posted an adorable photo of their reunion to Instagram. Standing on stage in front of an empty theatre, Ellie is seen with her arms wrapped around Vito, who was wearing a fluffy blue dressing gown and some brown slippers.
