BBC Strictly Come Dancing star welcomes third baby and shares superstar name and pictures

A Strictly Come Dancing star has shared the arrival of his third child - and the baby's name is fit for a star. Iwan Thomas, a Welsh Olympian, has a new little boy named Bowie.

He shared a picture of Bowie smiling with his older brothers, Teddy, who is five, and Dougie, who is two. Iwan, 50, was on Strictly in 2015 and he said: "The Thomas brothers [heart] literally my world right there #mylife #love #blessed."

Iwan's followers flooded him with well-wishes and congrutlated him on the birth of baby Bowie, a nod to the singer David Bowie. One person wrote: "Awwww congrats Iwan - blessed with 3 gorgeous wee lads." Another person said: "Congratulations to you both! Beautiful boys - you must be so proud.", reports the Mirror.

Iwan, who also cooks on Celebrity MasterChef, and his partner didn't tell reveal they were expecting until after Bowie was born. In February, Iwan showed a cute video of Bowie, all wrapped up, to his TikTok friends and said: "And then there were 3 boys - Meet Bowie 7lbs12 18/1/24. Big thanks to all at Princess Anne hospital who were fantastic."

Before Bowie was born, Iwan talked about how being an athlete meant he used to be "very selfish", but now his life is all about his sons. He told Express.co.uk that being a dad makes you see what's really important and he loves his boys very much.

"Being a dad just totally shifts your mindset about everything really. You know, I've spent my whole life being you know, a sportsman and having to be very selfish and single minded and focused on myself only but obviously now being a dad. Nothing's about me anymore. It's all about the boys," he said.
