BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara says 'I'm dreading it already' as she prepares for daughter's next milestone

Janette Manrara has told fans 'she's dreading it' as she prepares for one of her daughter's fresh milestones. The dancer and presenter welcomed her first child, Lyra Rose, into the world last year with her husband Aljaz Skorjanec.

The couple will soon be celebrating their daughter's first birthday at the end of the month but they'll also soon be taking her to nursery for the first time. Janette told her fans how they are yet to officially enrol her in a nursery but hope for her to go to one twice a week as Aljaz returns to Strictly Come Dancing.

It was revealed last week that the professional dancer will be returning to the hit BBC One dance contest following a two-year hiatus. Aljaz previously appeared on the show for nine years after joining alongside Janette back in 2013.

Fans will remember he lifted the Glitterball in his debut year with Abbey Clancy in 2013 before later being runner-up in 2017 with celebrity partner, and now friend, Gemma Atkinson. Meanwhile, Janette left the show herself following the 2020 series before joining It Takes Two the following year as co-host.

After sharing her pride and support for her husband's return, which will see them reunited at work as she confirmed she'll be back on It Takes Two, Janette has now shared how it's shaking things at home.
